The scheme was launched on September 15, 2022, and has since been expanded to cover over 20.73 lakh children in 34,987 government and state-aided primary schools. The study found that over 90% of children showed improved memory, increased classroom attention, better interest in learning and sports, and improved punctuality. The scheme aims to address malnutrition, improve attendance, and reduce the burden on working mothers.
